Term 4 will be taught by Lisa Allan
Exploring the art of training and creating work as an ensemble. The focus will be on trust and support, lifting each other up, connecting and having moments to shine. This course gives participants the opportunity to flex their imaginations, take risks and push boundaries as we create beautiful moments of theatre together.
Lisa is a director, writer, performer, producer and teacher of theatre. She graduated from The Hagley Theatre Company in 2000 and has been working in theatre ever since. She has just returned to live in Christchurch from a stint in Nelson where she was the Co-artistic Director of the Body in Space Theatre Company. The company trained together weekly over a six year period with a huge emphasis on the ensemble and, of course, the body in space. Lisa is looking forward to sharing her two decades worth of experience in theatre with the Court Theatre's Adult Acting class this term.
