An opportunity to develop performance and creative thinking skills. Each term runs for 8 weeks and is taken by a professional theatre maker, participants will learn skills in acting, text analysis, voice, devising, audition technique and how to work creatively as part of a group.
Term 2 will be taught by Hillary Moulder.
Exploring processes and techniques through text and genre. Learning what helps you as an Actor be truthful no matter what you are playing.
Whether for an audition or role, TV or stage, being able to attach yourself to the character/piece is truly important. Not only to be fully embedded in what you are doing, but to help you stand out amongst the rest and there is certainly more than one way of achieving this.
Focusing on contemporary literature we will learn and discover so many wonderful tools in which to add to your "creative box".
